With an emphasis on University placement, Gateway Legacy Christian Academy has dedicated themselves to building a program that develops each individual and prepares them for the next level in their lives.
We understand that universities and colleges around the country used to seek the "well-rounded individual". Today they seek a "well-rounded study body". They are looking for diversity. Diversity creates better conversations and dialogue in the classroom. That creates opportunities for unique individuals to stand out and highlight their strength. What makes you unique? Our team of highly dedicated educators and coaches invest our time into understanding each person. By managing though a person's weakness and putting focus and emphasis on their strength, we create an environment where a person can spend their time pursuing their passion. What you focus on will grow. We don't place our focus on weakness. We manage through it. Our focus is dedicated on a person's strength. Through this approach we have seen exponential growth in our student's capabilities and talents. This has gotten notice and created notoriety with college recruiters around the country. For our sports academy students, our coaches and trainers are excellent at helping the athletes attain their highest level of excellence in their sport of choice. Your experience in our academy is unlike any other prep school. The athletes are expected to be awake and ready to train early in the morning. They will be in training for a large portion of the morning. After a hearty lunch, they pursue academic excellence in the classroom and study collaboration groups. Instructors and counselors are on-hand to help with schoolwork and answer questions about scholarship opportunities and college applications. Evenings are dedicated to more study collaboration groups, more training in their sport or leisure activities. For our academic track, students start the day with a focus on a subject of interest. Students have accountability programs to help them stay on course, while they learn to manage their time. As they focus on attaining the highest GPA, they also have the ability to select additional extra-curricular programs and clubs. Students have the freedom to develop their own club based on interest and student participation. All clubs are created by and managed by the student body. Instructors are available for advice and resource management, but the program's success is based entirely on the student's ability to manage the program. This helps develop the leadership roles and allows the student to understand how to lead an organization. Teamwork and communication is developed in every program within Gateway Legacy Christian Academy. Evenings are dedicated to more study collaboration groups, clubs or leisure activities with friends and family.
